Jose's professional journey began as a cook at Sambo's, where his culinary artistry and welcoming demeanor made a lasting impression. His skills and work ethic later led him to a successful career as a construction worker with Francis E. Markley, and he proudly served as a member of Laborers Local 1184. Beyond his professional achievements, Jose embraced the serene and fulfilling life of a rancher, finding joy in the land and the labor it entailed.

Jose was a man of vibrant spirit and boundless generosity. He delighted in family gatherings, where his love for cooking and storytelling shone brightly.
