Guadalupe (Lupe) Soriano Ochoa, 77, of Coachella, CA, passed away, Thursday, November 16, 2023, peacefully at home, with her   family by her side.Born August 25, 1946, in Indio, CA, she was the beloved daughter of Jess V. Soriano & Magdalena P. Soriano. In 1961 they met one another, and she later married the love of her life, Isaac J. Ochoa on
December 4,1965. They were married 59 years wonderful years.Lupe was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, and a friend to all who knew her. She was family oriented and dedicated a big part of her life to raising her family and grandchildren, while selflessly helping others. She was an avid Dodgers fan who loved spending time watching baseball games with her grandchildren. In addition, she also spent over twenty years enjoying her favorite hobby, chauffeuring friends and playing bingo.
In addition to her parents, Lupe was preceded in death by her sisters, Margie Ayala, Isabel Vasquez, Betty Espejo, and brother Johnny Soriano.
She is survived by her five daughters, Margaret Velez, son-in law Ezekiel Velez of Indio, CA, Jennie Ochoa of Fort Mohave, AZ, Maggie Jimenez, son-in-law Armando Jimenez of Coachella, CA Regina Nuno, son-in-law Frankie Nuno of Coachella, CA, Angelica Corona of Coachella, CA and son Isaac Ochoa, Jr., of Coachella, CA; twenty grandchildren, Jaime Mendez, Brittini Velez, Susie Velez, Ezekiel Velez Jr., Shawn Edwards Jr., Enrique Rocha, Christian Rocha, Isabella Ochoa, Isaac Samuel Ochoa, Jonathon Jimenez, Christopher Jimenez, Tiffany Jimenez, Desiree Nuno, Destiny Nuno, Frankie Nuno Jr., Bryan Nuno, Emery Nuno, Aniyah Nuno, Tersa Corona, Filiberto Corona Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Jonathon Jimenez Jr., Jade Mendez, Lilia Ochoa, Teresita Corona-Casillas; and sisters Mary Ochoa of La Quinta, Rita Soriano of Indio, CA, brothers Louis Soriano of Banning, CA, Jesse Soriano of Hawaii, Tony Soriano of Palm Springs, and Edward Soriano of Temecula, CA.

The funeral service viewing will be Monday, December 4, 2023,from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Soledad Church (Old Church),
52525 Oasis Palms Avenue, Coachella, CA 92236.
Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 9:15 a.m.at Our Lady of Soledad Church (New Church) at 52980 Cesar Chavez
Street, Coachella, CA 92236.Interment to follow at Coachella Valley Cemetary
