Con profunda tristeza y gratitud, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Gloria Verdel Loya, residente de Coachella, California. Gloria fue una esposa, madre y abuela amorosa y dedicada, quien falleció el 23 de diciembre de 2025, a la edad de 72 años. Creía que era mejor dar que recibir. Su generosidad no tenía límites. Era una persona dulce y humilde.
Nacida el 14 de enero de 1953 en Guerrero, México, Gloria era el corazón de su familia y una fuente silenciosa de fortaleza. Era amable, cariñosa y tenía un corazón compasivo. Se entregaba a los demás desinteresadamente, su bondad era constante, su paciencia infinita y su amor incondicional. Disfrutaba cocinar, bailar y pasar tiempo con sus seres queridos y amigos. Vivió la vida al máximo.
Como madre, brindó a sus hijos no solo cuidado, sino también sabiduría, fe y aliento. Su hogar era un lugar de calidez, risas y consuelo. Aunque Gloria ya no está con nosotros, vivirá para siempre en nuestros corazones.
Le sobreviven sus siete amados hijos: Daniel, Hugo, Eliud, Lino, Rosario, José y María; y sus ocho nietos: Jasmine, Sophie, Juliana, Victor Hugo, Marco Antonio, José Alejandro, Isabella y Maximus, quienes siempre atesorarán su guía, su dulce sonrisa y su amor inquebrantable.
Le precedió en la muerte su amado esposo, Daniel Verdel Duarte quien falleció el 24 de octubre de 2024 a la edad de 75 años.
El servicio se llevará acabo el 19 de enero de 2026 en la Funeraria Casillas en Coachella de 5:00 p.m. a 10:00 p.m. La misa se llevará a cabo el 20 de enero de 2026 a las 10:15am en la iglesia Nuestra Señora de Soledad en Coachella. El sepulcro se llevará a cabo en el Cementerio Publico de Coachella a las 11:30am.
Aunque lamentamos su partida, nos regocijamos en el legado de amor que deja y en las innumerables vidas que tocó.
La extrañaremos profundamente y la recordaremos con cariño, siempre.

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we announce the passing of Gloria Verdel Loya, a resident of Coachella, California. Gloria was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 72. She believed it was better to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. She was gentle and humble.

Born on January 14,1953 in Guerrero, Mexico, Gloria was the heart of her family and a quiet source of strength.  She was kind, loving, and had an empathetic heart. She gave of herself selflessly, her kindness was steady, her patience endless, and her love unconditional. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, and spending time with her loved ones and friends. She lived life to the fullest.

As a mother, she nurtured not only with care but with wisdom, faith, and encouragement. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and comfort. Although Gloria is no longer with us, she will live on in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her seven beloved children: Daniel, Hugo, Eliud, Lino, Rosario, Jose, and Maria. And by her eight grandchildren: Jasmine, Sophie, Juliana, Victor Hugo, Marco Antonio, José Alejandro, Isabella, and Maximus who will forever cherish her guidance, her gentle smile, and her unwavering love.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Daniel Verdel Duarte who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 75.

A celebration of her life will be held on January 19, 2026, at Casillas Funeral Home in Coachella. Though we mourn her passing, we rejoice in the legacy of love she leaves behind and the countless lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered—always.
